Mohan Babu has been caught up in several controversies recently. After his son Manchu Manoj filed a complaint the Pahadi Shareef police booked a case against him.
Another case was filed last week when Mohan Babu allegedly attacked a journalist during an argument at his residence, causing a serious injury.
Mohan Babu, who was later hospitalized, is now recovering at home. He recently visited the injured journalist in the hospital.
Meanwhile, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu has warned that Mohan Babu could be arrested if he does not respond to their notice and attend the investigation regarding the assault case.
The Commissioner informed the media that Mohan Babu has requested time until December 24 and that the police have asked him to provide a medical certificate during the investigation.
“Mohan Babu has sought time till December 24, and the court has also allowed this. If he fails to cooperate and attend the investigation, we will proceed as per law and arrest him,” said the Commissioner.
He also clarified that Mohan Babu’s guns are not under Rachakonda limits and have been deposited at Chandragiri Police Station in Chittoor.
